Tzu Chi Free Health Screening and Medical Clinic • Staffed with a medical consultant and professional nurses, the clinic provides free medical and dental services to sick and needy residents besides offering free health screening.
1. Primary Medical (GP) Services
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday
9.30am – 12.30pm (*Registration closes at 12.00pm)
2.00pm – 4.30pm (*Registration closes at 4.00pm)
1st and 4th Saturday:
9.30am – 12.30pm (*Registration closes at 12.00pm)
Eligibility:
a. Community Health Assistance Scheme (CHAS) card holders
b. Pioneer Generation CHAS card holders
c. Public Assistance Card or Community Medical Benefits Card holders
d. NKF Medical Card holders
e. Selected Tzu Chi Foundation aid recipients
f. Monthly per capita household income of S$1,500 or less (PRs and Long-term Social Visit Pass holders – 1 year)
2. Dental Services
Operating Hours: Every Tuesday & Thursday (Available by appointment only, after financial assessment)
Eligibility:
a. Individuals above the age of 18, with total monthly household income of less than S$2000, or less than S$800 if living alone
(Patient is required to show his/her monthly pay slips at registration.)
b. Patients referred by our Community Partners (CDC, CC, NKF, HOME etc.)
c. Needy patients referred from our free clinics
* The clinic reserves the right to revise the eligibility conditions for medical and dental services without prior notice.
3. Eye Screening and Consultation Services
Operating Hours:
Every 2nd & 4th Thursday
Every 1st & 4th Saturday
(Available by appointment only after consulting a doctor at the free clinic)
Eligibility:
Patients above 50 years old (Singapore citizens, PRs, holders of a valid ID card -Work or Student Pass/Long-term Social Visit Pass > 5 years)
4. Health Screening Services
Operating Hours: Every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, 9.30am-12.00pm
(Available by appointment only)
Eligibility:
Individuals aged 18 years and above (Singapore citizens, PRs, holders of a valid ID card ─ Work or Student Pass/Long-term Social Visit Pass)
Services available:
• Coronary heart disease risk factor analysis
• Diabetes mellitus screening and risk factor analysis
• Anaemia screening
• Colorectal cancer screening and other cancer risk factor analysis
• Kidney disease risk assessment and testing
• Hepatitis B and HIV screening
• Osteoporosis risk analysis
Remarks:
• Patients are required to fast for at least 8 hours before the appointment.
• Patients’ suitability for each of the services will be determined based on age and family history.
• Date for collection of screening test results will be advised separately
