Dr Wong Soon Tee is a MOH accredited dermatologist who has been helping his patients overcome their medical and cosmetic skin problems for the past 20 years.

Early Years In NUH— Deep Ties That Remain
Under the mentorship of Professor Chan Heng Leong, Professor of Medicine and Dermatology in Singapore, Dr Wong completed his Advanced Specialty Training (AST) in Dermatology and is a fully accredited dermatologist with the Ministry of Health since 1998.
As a consultant of Internal Medicine and Dermatology in NUH, Dr Wong managed a wide spectrum of skin problems related to patients with cancers, liver, heart and kidney problems as well as the usual outpatient skin problems, for example, acne, pigmentation, skin allergy, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, scalp rash, chronic ulcer and wound care.
Between 1998 and 2000, Dr Wong was awarded the China Medical Board Scholarship for Dermatosurgery and Laser Surgery Training in the United Kingdom. At the same time, Dr Wong was conferred the Commonwealth Fellowship by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (UK) to research skin cancers at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Skin Tumour Laboratory. The training that Dr Wong received under the dermatologic surgeons and plastic surgeons overseas has honed his skills in picking up early skin cancers and removing them.
Founding Specialist of Skin and Aesthetic Centre at Raffles Hospital
Dr Wong was the Founding Skin Specialist of Raffles Skin and Aesthetic Centre where he practised both adult and paediatric general dermatology and saw many Asian and Caucasian patients from 2002 to 2012.
Learning from different specialists from around the world, Dr Wong helped many patients locally and regionally to rejuvenate their skin aesthetically and naturally. Dr Wong also administered toxin injections to treat patients with a sweaty face, palms and underarms, helping them overcome this socially embarrassing problem.
Private Practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre
Starting his private practice as Medical Director of Assurance Skin, Laser and Aesthetics, Dr Wong began a new chapter in his professional career. He now provides carefully evaluated clinical and laser services in his clinic. He uses Classys Ultraformer III for HIFU skin firming, Lumenis Acupulse CO2 laser machine for skin rejuvenation and scar removal, and Lumenis M22 OPT and Helios III Q-Switched ND-Yag laser for acne mark removal, photorejuvenation and lightening pigmentation.
Besides doing skin surgery regularly to remove skin cancers, skin growths and cysts, Dr Wong also has a special interest in treating scars. Learning from Japanese plastic surgeon Dr Rei Ogawa, Dr Wong offers comprehensive keloid scar management, including topical treatment, injection treatment, laser surgery, excisional surgery and radiation treatment.
Educating Students, Fellow Professionals and The Public
Dr Wong presently serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor with National University of Singapore and has been an examiner for the final MBBS examination of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine annually since 2002. He also supervises dermatology trainee residents in NUH in their dermatology clinic and gives annual lectures to NUS dentistry students.
Dr Wong is frequently invited to speak locally and regionally at lectures, conferences, and gives media interviews on medical and aesthetic dermatology.
