Dr Will was the youngest student ever accepted into the Scandinavian Chiropractic College Stockholm, Sweden, and spent 4 years under the tutorage of many globally-renowned chiropractic lecturers. In 1997, he became the youngest graduate from the college at the age of 21 and immediately began practicing as a chiropractor. He simultaneously earned his chiropractic licence from The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare and became a member of the Chiropractic Association in Sweden.
In his on-going pursuit of chiropractic and neurological knowledge Dr Will completed further courses while working, learning about Rehabilitation of the Musculoskeletal System and Chiropractic Rehabilitation using the Bio-Psycho-Social approach for Chronic Pain Syndromes. He also spent time in Prague studying rehabilitation under a series of world famous doctors.
After 8 years practicing in Europe, Dr Will moved to South East Asia in 2005, allowing him the benefit of an international perspective. In 2006, he started his own practice, Precision Spine Chiropractic, which he still runs independently today.
Dr Will’s hunger for knowledge continues to drive him. He has contributed chiropractic-related articles in the PAR Golf and Golf Vacations magazines, and has appeared on Channel News Asia speaking on scoliosis and chiropractic treatments. In addition, much of his free time is spent poring over clinical research papers in his quest to gain deeper insights into the realms of chiropractic, orthopaedics and neuroscience theory and practice. His in-depth understanding of these topics ensures his treatment decisions are always based on scientific evidence rather than hearsay or the comfortable but misleading statement “it is usually done this way”.
His devotion to the chiropractic patient community also means he actively contributes to a number of blogs, forums, and will answer your questions personally if you email him directly. Alternatively, you can call the clinic to arrange a consultation.
Dr. Will Kalla is happily married with two young daughters, and relaxes by dividing his time between family-oriented activities and his two other passions in life, off-road cycling and long distance running. He also spends much of his spare time developing treatment programmes and core training exercises to boost peak performance in marathon runners, triathletes and cyclists.
