Dr Jipson Quah graduated with Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
As a general practitioner and a skilled pianist, he is adept with his hands and performs numerous minor surgeries. He enjoys treating both medical and surgical problems, while also focusing on the holistic wellness of the patient. He aims to provide patients with the best and yet cost-effective treatment. He is attentive to patients of all age groups and serves with kindness and compassion.
During his residency training in the renowned Division of Pathology at the Singapore General Hospital, he had the opportunity to develop his interests in Anatomical Pathology, Cytology, Molecular Pathology and Forensic Pathology. He visualises himself as a pioneering link between the pathologists, specialty clinicians, and patients and aspires to develop pathology education and the field of counselling for the patients.
Dr Quah is one of the very few pianists in the world to have attained three fellowships in piano performance, from the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College of London and London College of Music. He is generous about volunteering his musical talent and organizational capabilities and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charity initiatives.
