The above aphorism is a personal belief which Dr. Gan Lee Ping holds dear. Patient and meticulous, Dr. Gan possesses a keen sense of aesthetic beauty, which to her is manifested in the harmony of form and proportions. She believes in natural- looking enhancements in order to achieve this, and strives for a holistic evidence- based approach in tackling her patients’ beauty concerns.
Following her graduation from University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Dr. Gan returned to Singapore to commence clinical training in various surgical disciplines such as Hand Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT and Paediatric Surgery.
Dr. Gan subsequently obtained her post-graduate surgical qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK. Certified by the SMC Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to carry out various minimally invasive aesthetic techniques, she makes it a priority to attend various local and international aesthetic training courses and conferences to avail herself of the knowledge and skills at hand. All this rigorous training has stood Dr. Gan in good stead in her medical endeavours.
Dr. Gan has a special interest in facial rejuvenation, and this can be done by optimising one’s skin condition by addressing acne and pigmentation, injectables such as Botox and fillers, non- surgical face lifting options such as Ulthera and threadlifts, as well as hair loss treatments. With the current advancements in the aesthetic field today, it is possible to achieve very natural and subtle rejuvenation results with minimally invasive techniques, with little or no downtime. Dr. Gan is passionate about developing a customised armamentarium combining different treatment modalities, so to achieve an even better aesthetic outcome for her patients.
That said, Dr. Gan feels it is important to empower others through the sharing of aesthetic knowledge. Her personal manifesto lies in self- improvement, and the willingness to go out of one’s comfort zone repeatedly. It is also Dr. Gan’s personal commitment to help you look and feel your best daily, in every way.
