Dr Clement Lye Poh Wah obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2002. He received several academic awards during his undergraduate years in Dentistry including Dean’s Lists, the Singapore Dental Association President’s Silver Medal, the University Bronze Medal, the Wrigley Company Book Prize, the Malayan Dental Association Book Prize for best in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the Dr Loh Fun Chee Gold Medal for best student with distinction in Clinical Dentistry in the Final Professional Bachelor of Dental Surgery Examination.
He went on to pursue Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training and graduated from the National University of Singapore with Masters of Dental Surgery in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009. Upon completing his advanced specialty training at the National Dental Centre Singapore, he was registered as a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
His work encompasses all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His special interests are in the fields of Dental Implants, Temporomandibular joint disorders, in particular minimally invasive surgery of the joint, and Orthognathic surgery; for which he has been actively involved in delivering lectures and conducting workshops.
