Dr Chye graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2005. He is the recipient of the University Bronze Medal (For Second Best in Final BDS Examination), Singapore Dental Association Medal (For Best Student in Preventive Dentistry) and Dr Peter Tay & Partners Medal (For Best All Rounded Student). He is also the winner of the BDS 71 Scholarship 2003-2004. He was admitted as Fellow of the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2009. In 2015, Dr Chye completed his requirements and graduated with a Master of Public Health from the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health.
Dr Chye has undertaken several clinical postings in the institutions such as National Dental Centre, National University Hospital (Prosthodontics Residency) and the Singapore Armed Forces. He has good experience with all aspects of general dentistry and his special interest is in the field of prosthodontics which covers crowns, veneers, bridge, dentures and implants. Today, Dr Chye is a general dental practitioner and he is committed to providing a full range of family dentistry services to one and all.
Dr Chye has attended several overseas conferences and courses in the area of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implantology and Prosthodontics held in Los Angeles, San Diego, Hawaii, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. Dr Chye also attended the Advanced Course in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2011 at Loma Linda University- School of Dentistry.

Professionally, Dr Chye serve as a Council Member with Singapore Dental Association since 2006 and was appointed the Vice President of Singapore Dental Association since 2012. He is also the Vice President of the Asia Pacific Dental Federation (APDF/APRO) for the term 2014-2016.
