Your Sight, Our Vision. Their mission statement sums it all. Patrick & Linda’s focus has always been to make sure that every prescription glasses prescribed is not only accurate but also visually comfortable.
Precision Optics is founded in 2013 by Mr Patrick Ng and Mdm Linda Song. Patrick and Linda were formerly colleagues working in a successful optical practice in Thomson Plaza. Driven by the the spirit of entrepreneurship, they have decided to take a leap of faith to leave their workplace of more a decade, to set up Precision Optics.
Precision Optics is outfitted with the following equipment:
* Nidek Tono-auto ref, a 3 in 1 machine that measures your eye pressure, cornea shape and objective prescription
* auto-phoropter- state of the art digital eye testing that delivers precise prescription and binocular vision assessment
* Optovue iCam, a retinal camera which delivers a high resolution image of your retinal.
* Slit Lamp – 40x microscope to look at the cornea health with modern digital imaging capabilities.
This setup allows them to screen for eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract, age related macular degeneration and others. Some of these dieases can have no symptoms in its early stages. Early detection can potentially save your sight.
