She received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and completed her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at various teaching hospitals in England, culminating in Membership to the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK). Before leaving for private practice in 2011, Dr Wong was a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the National University Hospital (NUH) where she pursued her training and achieved Specialist Accreditation with the Singapore Ministry of Health. Dr Wong has been actively involved in clinical and translational research, particularly first-in-human clinical trials exploring novel therapies for patients with cancer.
